About
A Broward Contractor Working in Broward
Romco Builders is a licensed Florida general contractor based in Fort Lauderdale. Impact windows and doors in our home county is the most straightforward work we do, and the reason this site exists rather than a statewide one.
Give us the address and a rough count of openings. We will tell you what the design pressures are before anyone quotes you a price.

We install with our own crews
Most of this trade sells the job and subcontracts the installation to whoever has capacity that week. We do not. Everybody who touches your house is on our payroll, from the measure through to the paint line.
On a house where the elevation matters, that is the whole difference. The stucco returns, the interior casing and the paint line are in our scope rather than handed to a separate trade you end up chasing.
What that costs us, honestly
Capacity. A subcontracting model can start sooner because it buys crews on the open market. Our schedule is genuinely finite and it fills before season.
We would rather say that at the first call than take a deposit against a date we cannot hold. If you need a whole house done inside a fortnight in September, ask us early and we will give you a straight answer.
Licensed, and specific about it
Romco Builders is a licensed Florida general contractor. We do not publish claims about certifications we do not hold, and we do not describe ourselves as a manufacturer or a dealer for any one brand.
That last point matters more than it sounds. Because we are not tied to a product line, we specify whatever holds the right approval at the right pressure — which occasionally means a different line for the rear sliders than for the front elevation.

Find out what is actually wrong with it.
An inspection, photographs of what we found, and a written scope. If the honest answer is that it can wait another season, that is the answer you will get.
